If you open Google Scholar from the UCT Libraries’ home page, you will be able to see resources that you can access through UCT Libraries. The Google Scholar button is available on the UCT Libraries home page immediately below the default search box. On retrieving resources, items with ‘ViewIt@UCT’ will link back to Primo.

Another option is to configure your Google Scholar account so that your search for items at UCT libraries will be indicated with ViewIt@UCT. In order to do this set up, open Google Scholar. From the top left corner click on the three bars icon and select the Settings option. Please check the screenshots below. On the Settings page select, ‘Library links’ and in the search box search for University of Cape Town. Then check University of Cape Town and save. This will allow you to see if retrieved resources are available at UCT Libraries.
